I like my FTDX10 but don't use all the features and wish it had better ergonomics, and was a bit cheaper. So the 710 sounds good. At least as good as a 7300. It's no hybrid but it is a newer SDR design. Only downside is Icom have superior menus in my opinion. Actually hybrid SDR's are better than pure SDR's as demonstrated with the 7300, the FT DX 10 handles better noisy environment and doesn't get overloaded when the 7300 does because of that hybrid arquitecture.Shift doesn’t have its own knob, it’s managed via Twin PBT.
