A lot of great weapons that scale with Faith tend to be lightweight (Moonlight Sword, Istarelle, Blessed Mirdan Hammer or Mace, ect.) giving you extra flexibility with gear, and the health regen makes World 5 considerably easier. Ho there friends, new to Demon's Souls but a Dark Souls/BB vet. Trying to decide whether to incorporate Magic or Faith in my playthrough. I always pick at least one of the two in Dark Souls, adds flair for me. I know Magic is supposed to be OP, not usually a fan of easy mode but I do really like how spells look this go-around.best ranged weapon for Faith builds ? Some encounters in this game seem to require ranged attacks. Since Faith builds don't have ranged miracle spells, i'm looking at which bows could be good. I found the Compound Long Bow, that seem reasonable with it's 15 Strength requiremement (as it is two handed). Faith/Crushing build. Pure melee build that uses the power of blessed and crushing weapons. Due to high endurance, can wear different armors in combo with each other or if you prefer, wearing just the full set of one. Personally I think the Lava Bow is incredibly useful for PvE, especially for Faith builds as they tend to lack both ranged abilities as well as fire damage. You don't need it (and if you're going for primarily PvP build you shouldn't waste points to use it), however it is quite handy to have around. El Psy Kongroo. Firestorm (Nuke spell) Homing Soul Arrow (PvE Nuke Spell) Light Weapon (Magic oriented buff) Curse Weapon (Physical Buff, for non-Mage and non-Faith builds one should strive for 18 Intelligence just for this spell) Second Chance (Every single build should look to obtain 16 Faith for this miracle)Pure Magic. The recommended build for Magician is of course the Pure Magic build. This build will live and die by Magic. Unecessary stats like Vitality, Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, and Faith can be tossed aside as you put everything into Intelligence and Magic.Faith builds are melee builds that trade some damage output for HP regen and utility miracles. The LSoM and Istarelle are fine, but they dramatically reduce HP regen potential. In fact, a Crushing Claymore in a strength build using Curse Weapon and an Adjusicatir’s shield +5 will have just as much HP regen AND more damage than a faith build ...Second Chance, Anti-Magic Field, Evacuate, Cure, and healing miracles ect. are very handy miracles. The toxic swamps everyone complains about are a joke to Faith builds. It would be really nice if Demon's Souls had the Raw upgrade path and buffs like Sunlight Blade and some of the lightning offensive miracles, but that came in later Souls games. Strength, dex, Light Weapon and regen builds are all equally excellent for pvp if you do them properly. A proper strength build should look something like this: 50 vit, 18 int, 40 end, 50 str, and 16 faith -- Cursed Weapon (with a "cracked" Talisman of Beasts) and Second Chance are musts for this build, as well as for dex builds, and Second ...For a build to be good the main stats have to be more than 30, in your case you have 20 on Magic, and 42 on Faith. Also, you are focusing on only spells, and if you going for a hybrid why not use ....
